A great hands-on activity to pair with your favorite elementary level oil spill book. Students simulate basic oil containment and removal techniques using oil spill models they create. They learn to measure data and compare results. Great for teaching scientific process and introducing inquiry and problem solving. Includes student lab pages for differentiated learning.
